The Caviary -
My guinea pigs are currently kept indoors - 2023
I have various set ups in the caviary to suit different herds. The one below is a 6x2 grid (approx 16sq ft) pen. I have adapted the grids to drop down to allow easier access and to make cleaning much easier.
The second set up is a 2 storey 3x2 grid cage (9.5sq ft approx) again with drop grids to allow easier access.

Cavy Travel Crates (Ideal for exhibiting)
I use these crates when the weather is warmer as they allow far more air flow than standard wooden show carriers. These are light, easy to stack, spacious and the pigs seem to travel very well in them. I divide the boxes using a piece of plywood, this is cable tied into place. The boxes stack very well and as a lid for the top box a flat crate is used. Bungee straps are used to keep the boxes together and secure.
